Sunburnt thighs and more salt than my weight is worth. Travels with the mental vegan.

Day 5

Started the day off with a $4.99 breakfast at the Peppermill Casino in Wendover, which is actually in both Utah and Nevada (or at least that's what the cop told us when we were pulled over for riding with no helmets on the Nevada side...).

We spend way too long drinking way too many coffees planning our shots and specifics for the day. Today we are filming some scenes for a Naked and Famous Denim commercial/video, and by "scenes" I mean me riding in my underwear with the jeans on a flagpole on the back of my bike.

Which brings me to my next point; sunscreen. I was only pantsless for about 2-3 hours, yet by the time we finished and got back to the motel my legs were bright red and felt like they were on fire. Cue the worst night of my life, literally had dreams where my legs were on fire, so let's just say I didn't sleep much.

The day was absolutely amazing though, the salt flats truly are something else. We rode around trying to top out our bikes, the salt is a touch slippery when riding slow, yet it feels like your bike is glued to the ground when going extremely fast. By the end of the day our bikes looked like some post-apocalyptic ice planet Mad Max machines.
